The council is required to carry out a review of the location of polling stations.


The legally required notice is set out below:-

Representation of the People Act 1983

The Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places (Parliamentary Elections) Regulations 2006



In accordance with the requirements of section 18C(1) of the Representation of the People Act 1983, notice is hereby given that Warwick District Council is currently undertaking a review of polling districts and polling places for use in connection with parliamentary elections held within the Warwick and Leamington and Rugby and Kenilworth (where applicable) parliamentary constituencies.

The review will be completed in sufficient time to enable the Electoral Registration Officer to make any alterations necessary to the register of electors when it is next fully revised by 1 December 2007.

Representations will be sought from the Returning Officers for the two parliamentary constituencies, and from persons who are considered to have particular expertise in relation to access to premises or facilities for persons who have different forms of disability.

In addition, any elector registered in the area of the Warwick District Council may make representations to the Electoral Services Office.

The details of the existing electoral arrangements are available for inspection between the hours of 10am and 4pm on any normal working day at the Electoral Services Office, Riverside House, Milverton Hill, ROYAL LEAMINGTON SPA Warwickshire CV32 5HZ.

Representations on the existing arrangements should be made in writing to the Electoral Services Office by no later than 14 September 2007.

Details of representations received will be made available for inspection.
