From April, everybody aged 60 and over will be entitled to travel free on local buses anywhere in England. Many people with disabilities will also be eligible.
The scheme is being paid for by councils in England with financial support from the government.
Residents who already hold a Warwick District Council bus pass do not need to do anything – a new pass will automatically be issued by the council to those residents before April 2008.
Anyone who currently holds a bus pass but who has not received the new one should contact us on 01926 456827 or via email to contactus@warwickdc.gov.uk. We are currently experiencing a high number of calls and there may be a short delay in answering you, for which we apologise.
New applicants can apply online or at any of the council’s offices in Kenilworth, Leamington Spa, Warwick or Whitnash or by telephoning 456827. The new pass will continue to be issued free of charge.
