Council officers are now working across the county to promote take up of housing benefit and council tax benefit.
Claim It! is aimed at people of all ages across the county who are on a low income. There are real pockets of hardship across the county. This campaign is about helping those who are in greatest need.
If you are holding an open day or organising a fete or just having a community meeting please contact Margaret Allen or George Randhawa. They will happily come along and bring a display board and leaflets and will talk with people who may be struggling to pay their council tax or rent.
