Backed up by a consultation strategy, the Council uses a variety of methods of consultation to achieve this. At the heart of the Council’s approach to corporate consultation is the Citizens' Panel and the Citizen’s Panel Focus Groups. These are supported by a wide range of consultations relating to specific services. Consultation is an integral part of the work of Warwick District Council and is vital to the future of the Council, feeding into Best Value, Corporate Planning and Service Planning.

Citizen’s Panel
The Council, using independent market researchers has been undertaking consultation with a Citizen’s Panel since 2000. The Panel consists of 1000-1500 local residents who have agreed to answer questions about the Council’s services or about local priorities. The Council and its market research advisers have made efforts to ensure the make up of Panel is representative of the local population. The Council consults the Panel 3 or 4 times per year. Join the citizen's panel.

User Satisfaction Surveys
Every three years the Council undertakes a series surveys to gauge satisfaction amongst service users and residents as a whole. This survey follows very strict guidelines that are set down by the Government and which are followed by all local authorities. This means that satisfaction with Warwick District Council’s surveys can be compared with satisfaction in other local authorities.
