Riverside House

The main reception area handles face to face enquiries and all visitors to the building.
Residents can talk directly to staff about council tax, housing and benefit enquiries.
The Leamington Spa Registrar of births and deaths is based within Riverside House and offers an appointment system. Call 01926 428807.

The town hall is used by Warwick District Council and Royal Leamington Spa Town Council. The majority of councillor meetings are held within the building and are open to the public. The agenda can be found at www.warwickdc.gov.uk/committees
The main entrance is where visitors can sign in. The staircase leads you to the main meeting rooms.
On the staircase you can find pictures of the most recent mayors of Leamington Spa and the most recent chairs of Warwick District Council, as well as a plaque detailing all past mayors of Leamington.
At the top of the staircase is the bust of Kind Edward VII donated by Alderman Wackrill JP, first mayor of Leamington Spa. There is a range of pictures that have been donated to the authority.
Outside the Chairman’s room is the long case clock donated in 1918, and the entrance to the council chamber. The entrance to the public gallery is to the left of the lift.
The Chairman’s room is used by the chairman of Warwick District Council to entertain guests.
The council chamber is used for council meetings and contains a public gallery. The room contains stained glass windows commemorating past mayors of Leamington Spa.
Outside the Assembly room is the entrance to the Mayor’s room.
The Mayor’s room is used by the mayor of Royal Leamington Spa town council to entertain guests.
The Assembly room is used for a variety of functions from holding the Warwick District Council annual meeting to hosting CD and record fayres at weekends.

Customers can borrow books and CDs, read the newspaper, ask questions about recycling, council tax, benefits or assisted travel.
Teenagers have their own dedicated area to relax, study or surf the net.
The newly refurbished library offers a bright welcoming environment.
Confidential interview room where customers can speak to an adviser in private. Surgeries are held here with a pensions adviser, local councillors, the police and Member of Parliament.

Access all Warwick District Council services at our information desk within Warwick library. Simply walk past the first library counter and turn left. One of our friendly customer service advisers will be waiting to assist you.
As you enter the library, help yourself to any of the Warwick District Council leaflets. To see one of our customer service advisers, go straight forward and turn left by the reading area.
