Security features have been added our Online Payments facility to provide you with the latest technology to help combat potential fraud. These are Address Verification System (AVS), Card Security Code (CSC) and Verisecure with VISA and Mastercard.
AVS – the payee will be asked to enter specific details of the address at which their card is registered. This can include postcode, housenumber or both. Payment is only accepted where details entered match with the card issuer’s own records.
CSC – the person making the payment is prompted to enter the 3 or 4 digit number on the reverse of the card. This number is then verified against the details held by the card issuing bank.
Verisecure – customers pre-register their card with a password with the card issuer and when the card is used with an accredited site the customer is prompted to enter the password to complete the transaction.
Simply follow the instructions on the payment pages.
